Benefit Fraud

What is benefit fraud?

Benefit fraud is when someone obtains state benefit that they are not entitled to or if an individual deliberately fails to report a change in their personal circumstances.

How do I report it?

If you suspect that someone is claiming benefits fraudulently, you can report this by contacting the Department for Work and Pensions or the National Benefit Fraud Hotline (NBFH).
