The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) allows you to register to opt out of receiving unsolicited sales or marketing telephone calls. Once registered to this free service it is a legal requirement that companies do not make this type of call to you.
Please note that this will not cover circumstances where you have agreed to receive this type of call.

It is important that if you are receiving nuisance calls from companies you make a complaint. This will allow regulators to identify and take against the companies responsible.
