Five men have been jailed after gang violence broke out at a busy shopping centre, as detectives warn there’s no let-up in their efforts to tackle knife crime.

Violence flared when two rival groups bumped into each other in a chance meeting at the Nike shop at Resorts World.

A woman who was found dead in her Solihull flat on Sunday (12 July) has been named as Kerry Woolley. 

Kerry, aged 38, was tragically found with fatal injuries to her neck at her flat on Warwick Road in Solihull at around 3.20pm.

Sean Bulle, aged 20, is being sought over the killing of Paulius Petrasiunas, 24, just before 5:20pm.

We acted on intelligence and carried out a raid on a property in Ralph's Meadow, Woodgate, yesterday morning (12 July).

We have launched a murder investigation after a 38-year-old woman was found dead in a flat in Warwick Road, Solihull, yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

Officers were called to the flat at around 3.20pm where the woman was found with fatal injuries to her neck.

A drug dealer has been jailed after we seized heroin and crack cocaine he tried to discard in public toilets.

Ahmed Habarugira was already on bail on suspicion of drugs offences when he was stopped by officers in Coventry city centre on 4 February this year.
