A former drug addict who was one of the most prolific shoplifters in the West Midlands has thanked the police offender manager who’s helped turn her back on a life of crime.

Police are investigating a stabbing which took place just before 5.30am this morning (Saturday 11 August) outside a Tesco store in Bath Row, Birmingham.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries to the chest, where he remains today.
