Tributes to man found dead outside West Bromwich police station

Tributes have been paid to a 'humble man' who was found dead in a car outside West Bromwich police station.

Harish Kumar was discovered in the front seat of the BMW in Moor Street last Thursday (10 August).

A post mortem revealed the 39 year-old from Willenhall, Walsall, died as a result of stab wound to the chest.

A statement from his family said: "Harish was a great yet very humble man. He was always there to help and he will be sadly missed – I can’t just believe that we’ve lost him.’

Sukhwinder Singh, aged 40, from MacDonalds Close, Sandwell, has been charged with murder. He appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (15 August) and was remanded in custody.
