Police appeal following serious Sandwell collision

Officers investigating a serious collision on Kenrick Way in West Bromwich just before 10.30pm on Wednesday (21 August), are appealing for information.

A man was getting into his car which was parked near to the junction of Kenrick Way and Green Street when he was struck by a car that left the scene.

The 49-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains today (Friday 23 August).

Traffic officer PC Amratpal Singh, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and hasn’t spoken to us about what they saw to come forward.

“The offending car would have significant damage to its front and we need to speak to anyone that has noticed anything unusual about a neighbour’s car or who has dash-cam footage leading up to, during or after the incident.”
