Our four-legged friends continue to fight crime and keep you safe

Our amazing dogs continue to work hard, helping us catch criminals and keep you safe.

As we continue to do our very best to keep you all safe during these testing times, we feel we must once again highlight the work of our dedicated dogs who are a huge part of our WMP team.

They’ve been busy assisting with a variety of police work to take ‘woofless’ criminals off our streets. They’ve also been out looking for outstanding offenders and have helped with the seizure of two dangerous dogs.

PD Mason located some key evidence following a burglary at a supermarket in Coventry on Wednesday night (1 April).

PD Brooke also tracked a man who’d fled from a car. He was found in some nearby bushes and subsequently arrested.

Another man was arrested following reports of a disorder in Yew Tree, Walsall. PD Snow was hot on the heels of a suspect who was detained in a nearby garden. While fleeing it’s thought he discarded some wraps of drugs. He was arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs.

We’re sure you’ll agree our dogs are fab!
