Man identified following appeal for help to find out who he was

A man has been identified after we asked for help to find out who he was when he was found injured in Aston on Sunday (9 February). 

The victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A 37-year-old man, arrested from the scene in Emscote Road, has been released on police bail while enquiries continue. 

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal as we continue to investigating the circumstances around the assault.
