Investigation after shots fired at house in Coventry

We have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house in Coventry last night.

We were alerted to a shooting in Poole Road at around 8.46pm.

It is believed a man on a motorbike fired shots at the house before riding off.

Fortunately no one was injured, but there was damage to the property.

Patrols have been stepped up in the area as a precaution and this will continue into the weekend to reassure residents.
