We have launched a murder investigation after the body of a woman was found inside a house in Aston, Birmingham last night (Monday 23 March).
 
Officers were called to Sutton Street just after 6pm, where a 47-year-old woman was sadly found deceased inside her home.

A teenager has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Robert Burgess, who was found dead in a garden in October last year. 

The 17-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, fatally stabbed Robert in the chest after a dispute over drugs.

A former Birmingham dance teacher has been convicted of further sexual offences against his former pupils after previously receiving a five year sentence in 2018.

Neil Harris, of Manta Road in Tamworth, taught at a dance school in Erdington for over 50 years from 1957 until 2017.

Lewis Graver and Said Ammaid are due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today, (Monday 23 March).

Sultan Bi was struck by a Toyota Corolla Verso on the car park near Azad Supermarket, Alum Rock Road, at around 10.50am on 4 March.

We discovered Sayed Abuker Mohamed Ahmed with knife wounds to his chest and leg at a multi-occupancy property in Brighton Road on Monday afternoon (16 March).

The daughter of a man who tragically died after falling from a scissor lift at the University of Birmingham has paid tribute to his ‘kindness, humour and love for his family'.

Igor Malka, aged 62, suffered serious injuries and later died in hospital following the fall on 7 January.
