Police investigating a double stabbing at a Halloween party in the Castle Vale area of Birmingham last night (Wednesday 30 October), are appealing for information.
 
Officers were called to an address on Blenheim Way just after 11.30pm, where two teenage boys had been injured.

A man has today, (Wednesday 30 October) been jailed for four years after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of Damien Howl in West Bromwich. 

Marcus Parchment, 42,  assaulted Mr Howl who was found with serious head injuries in an alleyway off Heath Lane at around 5:15am on 5 June.

Three Birmingham gang members have been jailed after attacking a rival while he was being led to a police car after being arrested.

Officers were at Skipton Road in Edgbaston to arrest the suspect when they noticed a black VW Golf parked outside a tower block.

Police are appealing for information after items belonging to a terminally ill man were stolen from New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton.

It’s understood that a woman claiming to be the man’s daughter turned up at the hospital and collected his valuables on 26 August.

After extensive enquiries officers believe a man using the name Antonio Russo was driving the car which struck Rajesh Chand on the Soho Road in Handsworth on 31 August.

I was already a little concerned about breast cancer as it runs in my family - my aunt died of it at the age of 52 following 10 years of very invasive treatment. So when I received the call back from my first ever mammogram I sort of guessed that I had cancer.

Damage was caused to a house and one man was attacked by a group who were armed with weapons.

An armed robber who threatened a shop worker with a gun and then fled after stealing a car at knifepoint has been jailed.

Ayoub Adchiri demanded money from a staff member at Tesco in Hodge Hill while pointing what was believed to be a black handgun.

An ‘aspiring doctor’ has died following a non-stop collision in Alum Rock on Tuesday morning (22 October). 

Pedestrian Yahya Adan was struck by a dark coloured saloon type vehicle on Alum Rock Road, near to the junction of Naseby Road and Anthony Road just after midnight.

Today (25 October), Michael Foran pleaded guilty to the murder of June Jones during a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

A Sandwell police team has designed and written a book for year seven secondary school students in the area, to help them make sensible decisions and to deter them from crime. 

The book is called ‘Choices’ and explores themes of gangs, drugs, knife crime and anti-social behaviour.
