A man aged 24, from Bilston, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal following a ‘chop shop’ that was found in Wolverhampton last week. He is currently on police bail while helping officers with their investigation.
On Thursday (2 July) officers were on a routine patrol when they stumbled across a unit in an industrial estate on Withy Road, which is believed to have been used to house parts of stolen vehicles.

A mother has made a heartfelt plea for the driver of a lorry that hit her son and drove away leaving him badly injured on a Wolverhampton street to come forward.
Mackie Miller was walking home from school on 29 April along Bushbury Road, when he was hit by a lorry travelling from Fallings Park.
She says:"I’m so grateful to his friends, they called an ambulance and also to an off duty police officer who lives nearby as he rushed out to help him.
"We wouldn’t want any other family or child to go through what we are going through, every child should be safe on their walk home from school."
Exactly four months since Watford fan Nic Cruwys was violently attacked in Wolverhampton and detectives are urging the public to help them piece together the final piece of the jigsaw in their investigation.
Nic, aged 44, was left with potentially life-changing injuries when he was assaulted on 7 March after travelling to the Black Country to watch his team take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On his way back to the train station after the match, he was set upon by a group of men and received serious head injuries.
