Your neighbourhood team are currently working with the community and partners to address the following:

• Parking and Speeding issues.

  We regularly receive complaints of inconsiderate parking and speeding motorists. Parking outside schools is one of the main areas of concern, as is speeding along main arterial routes at various locations across our neighbourhood. It is our intention to heighten uniform patrols in as many of the reported locations as possible, with the focus now on prosecution.

  Parking and Speeding issues.: Following on from our speedwatch operations at the end of April on Coalway Road and Mount Road, we have concentrated a uniform presence at both locations. Drivers have been stopped and spoken to advising them that these arterial routes are a policing priority. Many of the drivers take this route daily. Hopefully they will keep their speed down knowing there is a possibility we are waiting for offenders.

• Anti Social Behaviour.

  We have received calls from residents of Warstones Gardens stating that youths are congregating in stairwells and causing a general nuisance. These same youths are also climbing over garage roofs and being generally rowdy. To date police patrols have encountered 15 youths all of whom have been identified as being the problem element. In view of this warning letters have been sent to their parents highlighting possible consequences of their childrens behaviour. This location will remain a priority for the next month after which a review will be conducted.

  Anti Social Behaviour.: Patrols continue at Warstones Gardens. Youths have been encountered and following letters being sent to their parents the problem appears to have ceased. However, we will continue to monitor the location.
