Your neighbourhood team are currently working with the community and partners to address the following:
Speeding and Parking Issues.
We regularly receive complaints of inconsiderate parking and speeding motorists. Parking outside schools is one of the main areas of concern, as is speeding along main arterial routes at various locations across our neighbourhood. It is our intention to heighten uniform patrols in as many of the reported locations as possible, with the focus now on prosecution. .Feedback
Speeding and Parking Issues.: 16th June update - Our next Pro Laser operation to combat speeding motorists is scheduled for the 24th June 2013 at Pennhouse Avenue and Windsor Avenue. After consultation with the Highways department we have received confirmation that parking restrictions will be placed at Linden Lea in Finchfield to ease traffic congestion caused by parents dropping children off at a nearby school. Manor Road in Penn will also receive parking restrictions. Again to ease traffic congestion caused by visitors to a health centre.
Anti Social Behaviour.
We have received calls from residents of Warstones Gardens stating that youths are congregating in stairwells and causing a general nuisance. These same youths are also climbing over garage roofs and being generally rowdy. To date police patrols have encountered 15 youths all of whom have been identified as being the problem element. In view of this warning letters have been sent to their parents highlighting possible consequences of their childrens behaviour. This location will remain a priority for the next month after which a review will be conducted.Feedback
Anti Social Behaviour.: 16th June 2013 update - The anti social behaviour being committed at Warstones Gardens has now ceased following police encounters with youths. As a result this will now be removed as a priority. However, the location will still receive patrols by uniform officers.
Your neighbourhood policing team is working hard to ensure your personal concerns about the area in which you live are identified and acted upon quickly, and that you are given regular feedback about the action that has been taken.
To help us do this more effectively, we would like to ask you to get involved.
We hold regular meetings across Wolverhampton, where you can raise any issues that are affecting your community with officers from your local police team. Meeting dates for this neighbourhood are listed above.
If you are not able to attend the meetings, you can still let us know your thoughts by contacting your neighbourhood team via the telephone number or email address at the top of this page. Alternatively, you can speak to one of your officers or PCSOs as they patrol your streets.
You can also have your say on whether you agree or disagree with the issues that have been identified as priorities for your neighbourhood. Simply tick ‘yes’ or ‘no’ in the priorities section and then submit your vote. If you do disagree with the priorities that have been set, remember to contact your neighbourhood sergeant to tell them what you feel the priorities for your area should be.
Another way to get involved is to set up or join a Neighbourhood Watch group. To find out more about Neighbourhood Watch, please contact Partnerships Officer Sharon Martin on 0345 113 5000 ext 7871 6575 or visit www.neighbourhoodwatch.net
You can also keep in touch by joining us on Facebook or following us on Twitter.
