Your neighbourhood team are currently working with the community and partners to address the following:
ASB - Argyle Road, Blakenhall.
Residents have complained about anti-social behaviour associated with the alley-ways off Argyle Road, Blakenhall. The team will increase patrols in the area to deter asb and identify offenders. Residents have asked the Council to complete a survey regarding the usage of the alley-ways with a view to potentially seeking closure of one or more. Police will also seek to re-kindle the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme that had lapsed.Feedback
ASB - Argyle Road, Blakenhall.: The team have increased patrols in the alleyways which has resulted in no new reports of asb being caused in the current review period. We will continue with our patrol strategy and support residents in their wish to re-kindle their Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.
Drugs - Dudley Road Corridor.
The team will develop community intelligence in respect of reports of drug dealing. Identify persons responsible, execute warrants under the misuse of drugs act and prosecute persons found to be in illegal possession of controlled drugs.Feedback
Drugs - Dudley Road Corridor.: A warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs act in Hailes Park Close and dealer quantity of class A drugs was recovered. Two further persons have been dealt with for possession of cocaine and two more individuals for possession of cannabis.
Your neighbourhood policing team is working hard to ensure your personal concerns about the area in which you live are identified and acted upon quickly, and that you are given regular feedback about the action that has been taken.
To help us do this more effectively, we would like to ask you to get involved.
We hold regular meetings across Wolverhampton, where you can raise any issues that are affecting your community with officers from your local police team. Meeting dates for this neighbourhood are listed above.
If you are not able to attend the meetings, you can still let us know your thoughts by contacting your neighbourhood team via the telephone number or email address at the top of this page. Alternatively, you can speak to one of your officers or PCSOs as they patrol your streets.
You can also have your say on whether you agree or disagree with the issues that have been identified as priorities for your neighbourhood. Simply tick ‘yes’ or ‘no’ in the priorities section and then submit your vote. If you do disagree with the priorities that have been set, remember to contact your neighbourhood sergeant to tell them what you feel the priorities for your area should be.
Another way to get involved is to set up or join a Neighbourhood Watch group. To find out more about Neighbourhood Watch, please contact Partnerships Officer Sharon Martin on 0345 113 5000 ext 7871 6575 or visit www.neighbourhoodwatch.net
