Parking Problems Prestwood rd.
Following PACT meeting 17/4/13, the issue of parking problems around Prestwood Rd. and surrounding streets was highlighted as an issue of high concern for residents. These issues are caused by staff and visitors to New Cross Hospital and Heath Park School who park in a dangerous and obstructive manner outside residents houses and on junctions/footpaths. There are concerns over the next few months of further problems when building work begin on both establishments which will also involve delivery lorries and building site staff converging on the area.Feedback
Parking Problems Prestwood rd.: This Priority was dismissed at PACT on 12/6/13 and will be removed from system. Throughout the month of May, the Team has regularly patrolled this area. Numerous warnings have been issued and 16 Fixed Penalty Notice fines were issued to vehicles dangerously parked. Follow regular updates on this priority on Twitter @HeathtownNPT #heathtownparking .
Tackling Visible Degeneration within Community.
Following PACT meeting on 12/6/13, it was agreed to adopt this priority to work with our Partners and community to identify visible signs of Environmental Anti Social Behaviour such as fly tipping/graffiti/waste land regeneration to tackle the conditions that foster and breed crime and disorder.Feedback
Identification of 'Grot Spots'.: The team will regularly patrol all areas of the Ward and proactively identify issues of fly tipping, graffiti and opportunities for waste ground regeneration. Referrals will be made to the appropriate partner agency to arrange clearance of the identified problem and condier if the land can be utilised for the benefit of the community.
Your neighbourhood policing team is working hard to ensure your personal concerns about the area in which you live are identified and acted upon quickly, and that you are given regular feedback about the action that has been taken.
To help us do this more effectively, we would like to ask you to get involved.
We hold regular meetings across Wolverhampton, where you can raise any issues that are affecting your community with officers from your local police team. Meeting dates for this neighbourhood are listed above.
If you are not able to attend the meetings, you can still let us know your thoughts by contacting your neighbourhood team via the telephone number or email address at the top of this page. Alternatively, you can speak to one of your officers or PCSOs as they patrol your streets.
You can also have your say on whether you agree or disagree with the issues that have been identified as priorities for your neighbourhood. Simply tick ‘yes’ or ‘no’ in the priorities section and then submit your vote. If you do disagree with the priorities that have been set, remember to contact your neighbourhood sergeant to tell them what you feel the priorities for your area should be.
Another way to get involved is to set up or join a Neighbourhood Watch group. To find out more about Neighbourhood Watch, please contact Partnerships Officer Sharon Martin on 0345 113 5000 ext 7871 6575 or visit www.neighbourhoodwatch.net
