2 March 2012
POLICE have arrested four people following a search warrant in Low Hill, Wolverhampton this morning (2 March).
Officers seized suspected stolen property, Class A drugs, as well as a vehicle connected to those present at the address in Perry Avenue.
Two women, aged 51 and 24, and two men aged, 22 and 20, were arrested for handling with intent to supply class A drugs. They are currently in police custody.
Three weeks ago (9 February), officers executed a search warrant at the same address, resulting in the recovery of stolen property; a 51-year-old woman was arrested and charged with three counts of theft from a shop. She was bailed and is due to appear in court on 9 March.
Inspector Simon Guilfoyle, of Wolverhampton local policing unit, who was present during the execution of the warrant, said: "This goes to show that we will respond to information from the community and take positive action against suspected thieves and drug dealers.
"If someone doesn't get the message the first time that we pay a visit, we will keep coming back until they do."
