Woman arrested on suspicion of murder

A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman's body in the early hours of yesterday morning (15 July).
A cordon is currently in place on the canal at the rear of a property in Hunter Crescent in Leamore, Walsall.
The victim, believed to be in her 40s, has not yet been formally identified.
A forensic postmortem is due to take place this morning.
Detectives are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
