Officers on overnight burglary patrols in Halesowen Road, Halesowen, just before 2am this morning (Sept 2) stopped the 33-year-old after spotting him acting suspiciously by an ATM machine.

Two members of a gang who carried out a four month crime spree across the Black Country were jailed for a total of 22 years at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday (29 August).
Gavin Reilly, from Tipton Road, Sedgley (pictured right) and Michael Scanlon, from Rocket Pool Drive, Bilston were found guilty of robbery on Thursday 28 August, after a trial lasting almost three weeks, and sentenced to 11 years each. The pair, both aged 34, were part of a gang responsible for 23 armed robberies across Wolverhampton, Dudley and Sandwell from September 2013 to January this year.

A Birmingham man has been jailed for four years after leaving a woman on a mobility scooter with critical injuries in a collision after driving off from a Coventry Road petrol station without paying for fuel earlier this year.
Steven Tucker, 28 from St Margarets Avenue, Ward End admitted causing serious injury through dangerous driving after crashing into the 54-year-old on 18 April before fleeing the scene in a blue Hyundai estate. Tucker was surrounded by members of the public on quad bikes a short distance away until police arrived.
