Pensioner who died in Willenhall fire named

POLICE have today named the pensioner who died following a fire in Willenhall this week.
Victor Moore aged 68 collapsed and died when fire took hold of massionettes on Southey Close, Willenhall on Monday 8 October.
The result of the post mortem confirms that Mr Moore died from the effects of fire and further reports are pending.
Emergency services arrived at the scene at 2.15am on Monday 8 October to find a fire which is believed to have spread from a wheelie bin adjacent to the building.
A 20-year-old man remains in police custody, officers were granted further time to question him.
The additional time allows detectives until the early hours of Thursday morning to release or charge the man who was arrested Monday on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life
In total, around 50 people were evacuated due to concerns over the safety of the maisonettes. One woman was taken to hospital with an ankle injury.
