Police release CCTV images of stolen Rolex watches

POLICE today released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a Rolex watch from a jewellers in Solihull.
On Tuesday 14 February, at approximately 3pm, a man went in to the Ernest Jones jewellers in Touchwood shopping centre, Solihull.
While looking at a watch with an assistant, the man grabbed it from the assistant's hand and ran out of the shop.
The person in the CCTV is described as a white man, between 35 and 39 years-of-age, around six feet and two inches tall with a slim build and brown hair. At the time he was wearing a navy blue tracksuit top, jeans and trainers.
DC Andrew Batey from the Investigation Team in Solihull said: "This is very similar to an incident which occurred at a Stafford branch of Ernest Jones on Monday 6 February where a Tag Heuer watch was stolen.
"Hopefully somebody will recognise the offender and get in touch to help us with the investigation."
Police are asking any one who might have any information on this incident or the man pictured to get in touch either by calling the new police non emergency number 101, asking to speak to Solihull police.
