Police appeal for information following two pub robberies

Police in Solihull are appealing for witnesses to two robberies at pubs in the borough over the weekend.
Police are not connecting the two incidents.
The first incident took place at 11:35 am on Saturday 25 February at the Lodge public house on Yardley Wood Road, Solihull.
Two men approached the licensee in the car park of the pub and grabbed a quantity of cash. The 39-year-old licensee was with a male friend in his early 40s who sustained a minor injury during the altercation.
The first man is described as a black male in his 20's, 5ft7 who wore dark clothing and had his face covered.
The second man is described as a white male in his 20's.
Both men were seen running towards the road opposite the pub, Kingsfield road in Yardley Wood, and made their getaway in a black car.
The second incident happened some time between 11:45 pm on Saturday 25 February and 1am on Sunday 26 February at the Lincoln Lodge Public House on Lincoln road North, in Olton.
Two men went into the pub, threatened a member of staff with a crow bar before making off with a quantity of cash. The 20-year-old barman was shaken but not injured.
The first offender is described as a Asian male, aged between 25-30, 5ft5 and he was wearing dark clothing and had his face covered.
The second offender is described as a black male, aged between 25 to 30, over 6ft tall and he also wore dark clothing and had his face covered.
DC Dawn Williams from Force CID said: "We are not connecting the two incidents and inquiries are ongoing into both offences. We would be keen to hear from anyone with any information who might be able to help bring the offenders in both incidents to justice. "
