    Three adults stopped drinking in Mills Walk. Details obtained and further work will now be completed with Sandwell Council.

    The canals have been patrolled and has been quiet lately.

    On 6th May a street drinker was found by the team on Dudley Port. He had to be taken to Sandwell Hospital as he had drank too much.

    Following reports of drinking taking place in Victoria Park officers have patrolled the area this week and not found anyone drinking. PC Tranter did stop and speak with the local BMX crew who were in the skate park. And this footage was filmed!

    PC Devereaux stopped 4 persons drinking alcohol on Mills Walk on 16th April at 5.30pm. They were all given notices to stay away from the area for 48 hrs or they would be arrested.

    Yesterday at 6pm PCSO Emma Harris and Michelle Paddock stopped 3 women drinking on the canal near Bloomfield Road. All the alcohol was seized , their details were obtained and the women were moved on and instructed not to return.

    Over the past 4 days there hasn't been any logs received reference street drinkers.

    The team have continued to patrol the hot spots areas.

    Sgt Rogers has informed Sandwell Wardens who are now prioritising their patrols around the problem areas for 1 month.

    On 8th April at 1630 hrs PCSO Harris attended Mills Walk. She stopped 2 youths who were hanging around the problem area. Their details were obtained and they were moved on.

    At 1715 hrs PCSO Paddock stopped 7 youths who were playing football in Menin Road. Their details were obtained and the youths were taken home and parents advised. The area has previously suffered criminal damage and ASB from youths playing football.

    We are patrolling the canal networks and hot spot locations for youths drinking alcohol. If we catch anyone who is drinking alcohol the drink can confiscated , and a fixed penalty fine can be issued. We can also ban them from returning to the location for up to 48 hours and if they return they can be arrested.

    On 5th April the team completed a street surgery in Mills Walk with the Tipton Town Manger and local housing officer. We spoke to 38 residents and issued crime prevention packs to them.

    On 7th April a youth who had been caught causing Anti Social Behaviour was formally warned at Tipton Police Station.

    We are checking CCTV at a hotspot location reference men drinking in Mills Walk.

    We have received complaints that cars are speeding in certain areas of Tipton Green.

    Vehicles are also being parked illegally causing traffic congestion.

    Motor bikes are being ridden on canal towpaths.

    On Saturday 11th May the Police off roaders patrolled The Cracker , Victoria Park , Sheepwash Nature reserve and the canal network.

    A scooter was stopped which had no insurance. This was searched and a quantity of Cannabis was found.

    The scooter was seized and the driver fined £150 for no insurance and £80 for possession of cannabis.

    Patrols have continued around hot spot locations.

    Council Civil Enforcement officers have been spoken to appraised of the problem locations.

    The Off Road Police Motorbikes are patrolling Tipton Green this coming weekend.

    We have patrolled the canal network over the past 2 weeks. We haven't encountered anyone riding motorbikes on the canal. Police logs have also been reviewed and we haven't received any vehicle related ASB calls for Tipton Green.

    However we will continue to patrol and have arranged for the Police off road motor bikes to patrol waste land and the canals.

    We are patrolling St Martins School this afternoon reference traffic congestion.

    A Traffic calming operation is planned for Thursday 25th April at various locations on Tipton Green.

    We will be completing a speed check operation at certain streets on Tipton Green. Drivers will be advised and fines may be issued.

    We are speaking with all the Schools within Tipton Green and requesting they put a message out reference inconsiderate parking. We will be patrolling the schools to check that drivers are adhering to the advice.

    We have arranged with our off road Police bikers for them to patrol the canal networks.

    Certain members of the public that walk dogs are behaving irresponsibly and not cleaning up after their dogs fouling.

    Police and Sandwell Wardens have patrolled the problem locations. A street surgery was completed in Baker Street and the public were updated reference what has been done to tackle the problem.

    PC Tranter has liased with Sandwell homes reference the cleaning of problem areas.

    On Saturday 4th May the team patrolled with Sandwell Wardens reference dog fouling. We informed the wardens of the problem locations.

    A Street briefing was also conducted at Baker Street where the problem was discussed with the community.

    The issue has been raised with the Council. We are meeting with Sandwell Wardens next week to explain the problems and formulate a plan of action.

    We will be liasing with Sandwell Wardens and request they patrol in key areas.

    Anyone caught not cleaning up after their dog is liable for prosecution.

    We will request that street cleaning visit certain streets / parks to make the area clean and safe.

    Whilst on patrol we will also check that the public who are walking their dogs are carrying plastic bags.
