Answers - feedback and solutions

The following are the issues raised from our last neighbourhood meeting and what we are doing to tackle them:

  • Anti social behaviour and drug use - Brandwood Park Road / Newick Grove
Since the last tasking meeting there has been two reports of which only one is a neighbourhood issue and is being dealt with. There has been a decrease in issues in the area as high visibility patrols have been in place. The main concerns of the entrance to Dawberry Fields from Newick Grove will be closed in due course and barriers will be erected to prevent cars pulling up. We have an offender who been charged for four offences and is due to appear in court, and evidence has been built up over a period in hope to give the offender a Criminal Anti Social Behaviour Order (CRASBO).
  • Anti social behaviour and mini motos - Dawberry Fields
We have known offenders for this and we will be sending letters of warning out to then in due course. Although reports of Anti social behaviour and mini motors have dwindled - high visibility patrols will remain in place. Further investigations will continue regarding mini motors and motor bikes. We will enforce section 59 police reform act 2002 in respect to vehicles causing alarm and distress if offenders continue to act in an anti social manner.
  • Broad LAne and Brandwood Park Road - Speeding
Patrols are in place and we have a few operations in mind for the issue concerned it appears this is an ongoing problem and will remain a tasking priority.

How can you get involved?

Our neighbourhood policing teams are working hard to ensure that your personal concerns about the area in which you live are identified and acted upon quickly, and that you are frequently given positive and useful feedback about the action we have taken.

But to do this we need your help.

We would love to hear from you about any issues you think the police should be tackling in your community.

There are lots of ways you can do this, including attending one of the police meetings that are held regularly, calling or emailing the team using the details above, or you could simply stop one of our officers or PCSOs in the street and have a chat.

Fix My Street is also a brilliant way to voice your concerns, anonymously if you wish! Why not visit the website at www.fixmystreet.com, pop your postcode in and see what issues have been raised about your street?

You could even get involved with your local Neighbourhood Watch by visiting www.neighbourhoodwatch.net.

Whichever method you prefer, we hope to hear from you soon!
