Phone and cash stolen in daytime robbery

image Dudley detectives have released CCTV images in a bid to trace two men who robbed a teenager of his mobile phone and money.

The 13 year-old victim was robbed by two men on Monday 7 May 2012 between 2pm and 2:15pm along The Boulevard in the Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill.

Detective Constable Caroline Morris of Dudley CID said; "The victim was approached by two men who threatened him with violence, forcing him to hand over his black Iphone 4.

"As he handed over the phone, one of the offenders also snatched £10 from his pocket".

The first offender is described as white, aged approximately 19 and 6 foot tall. He has short dark blonde hair and was wearing a silky blue tracksuit and black trainers.

The second offender is described as black also aged approximately 19 and 6 foot tall. He was of medium build with distinctive moles on his face. He was wearing white trainers, a navy blue fleece, grey jogging bottoms and a navy blue baseball hat.
