Your neighbourhood team are currently working with the community and partners to address the following:

Burglaries in the Holbrooks area.
Burglaries will continue to be our priority in the Holbrooks Area despite seeing a promising reduction this month. Can I ask that residents continue to be security minded and lock doors and windows when they are out. Can I also request that residents and members of the community contact us on the below numbers should you see anyone acting suspiciously. You will continue to see my officers and PCSO's out on patrol in uniform and plain clothes, walking the rear alleyways and challenging anyone up to no good. With your help we will hopefully continue to see a reduction in Burglaries in Holbrooks

Good News re Burglaries in the Area.: Burglaries continue to decrease in the Holbrooks area following two recent arrests and the community coming together and contacting the Police when they observe suspicious behaviour. Please be mindful as we enter the summer when leaving windows/doors open. Do not give criminals an easy opportunity to steal your property. Continue to be observant and contact us if you see anyone acting suspiciously. I will ensure if we are on duty that a member of my team attends. If my team are not on duty please contact either 101 (non emergencies) or 999 (in an emergency) and an officer will attend. 22.05.13

Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) in Holbrooks.
As we enter the summer months and the School holiday season the Radford and Holbrooks Neighbourhood Team will be stepping up our high visibility patrols in known ASB 'hotspots'. These 'hotspots' include Yarrow Walk/Dunster Place, Chesholme Rd, Orpington Drive, Leyburn Close/Cherry Close/Branstree Drive and John Shelton Drive. This is not an exhaustive list. If you are experiencing ASB please contact us and we will attend, listen to the issues and put a plan in place in an attempt to stop the disruptive behaviour.

Here’s how you can get involved:

• Contact your local team by telephone or email
• Visit your local police station
• Stop an officer or PCSO on patrol and have a chat
• Find us on Facebook or Twitter from the menu on the right hand side of this page
• Follow one of our inspector blogs from the same menu on the right
• Join or start up your own Neighbourhood Watch scheme
• Report anti-social behaviour via the It’s Your Call hotline on 024 7683 1300
• Report environmental concerns to www.fixmystreet.com
• Call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with information about crime.

You can also find us out and about in the community at:

• Street briefings – meet local officers on your doorstep, often in the police community van. This allows us to travel to different areas, offering advice, support and the opportunity to have your say on policing.
• Police surgeries – drop in on the day and talk to us about your concerns. No appointment necessary.
• Ward Forums – run in the evening by the council and led by one of the three councillors responsible for each of the city’s 18 wards. Open to everyone, including the public and other agencies, the forums are about making life in our neighbourhoods better together.
• Residents’ Associations – there are dozens of groups representing residents’ views across the city. They are run by local people for local people and help to build a stronger sense of community in Coventry.
