Birmingham South Offender Management Team

Offender Management is a co-ordinated approach bringing together partner agencies to prioritise interventions with offenders who cause the most crime in their local communities.

By tackling the offending behaviour of the most difficult and damaging offenders, whether it be to arrest those committing crime or to help those who want to change their lives, offender management helps to:

  • reduce crime
  • reduce re-offending
  • improve public confidence in the criminal justice system
  • tackle the social exclusion of offenders and their families
  • make communities safer
