Priorities and Issues

Open / Close

Your neighbourhood team are currently working with the community and partners to address the following:

  • Anti Social Behaviour.

We are currently experiencing incidents of Anti social behaviour in particular around the areas of Broadway Avenue, Belchers Lane, Finnemore Road and surrounding roads. West Midlands Police take all reports of ASB very seriously and we are working hard to address these issues. Officers have been gathering names and addresses of those involved and we are taking positive action, working closely with Birmingham city council and local businesses and residents. We would like to encourage anyone with information of anyone involved in anti social behaviour to contact us and make us aware.

Get involved

Our neighbourhood policing teams aim to ensure that any concerns you have about the area in which you live are identified and acted upon quickly.

To be able to do this we need your help and support. We want to hear from you about any issues you think we should be tackling in your community.

There are lots of ways that you can get involved, and we have listed some suggestions below:
• Come along to one of our community meetings which are held regularly held in your neighbourhood.

• Call West Midlands Police on 0345 113 5000 and ask to speak to your neighbourhood team. Alternatively, you can email your neighbourhood officers.

• Join a local Neighbourhood Watch scheme: visit www.neighbourhoodwatch.net for more information and to find a local scheme.

• Give information about crime anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting www.crimestoppers-uk.org. Crimestoppers are not the police, but an independent charity working to fight crime.

• Tell us what you think by completing our online survey.

Whichever method you prefer, we hope to hear from you soon and don’t forget you can always find out the latest priorities and meeting dates for your neighbourhood here on our website.
