30th April 2013.: In the past month, officers have been completing ASB surveys around Wyndhurst Road and Rudyngfield Drive in relation to a possible rise in kids playing ball games in the area. Any youths identified will be offered the chance to join the youth club and the local fitcap group and football club to encourage their activities in the right areas. ASB in the Stechford area.
To tackle and prevent anti-social behaviour and related crime in the Stechford area of the ward. This area includes Station Road, Albert Road, Giles Close, Little Meadow Walk and surrounding Roads.Feedback
30th April 2013.: In the past month, PC Sankey has moved on to the Stechford area. Officers have continued to grow the Faithwatch scheme and now have over 10 members. A community clean up day was conducted on Francis Road and Albert Road where local residents assisted the neighbourhood team in removing rubbish left lying around. Officers also completed a speeding operation along Albert Road looking to disrupt drivers using the area as a cut through from Iron Lane to Richmond Road.
Our neighbourhood policing teams aim to ensure that any concerns you have about the area in which you live are identified and acted upon quickly.
To be able to do this we need your help and support. We want to hear from you about any issues you think we should be tackling in your community.
There are lots of ways that you can get involved, and we have listed some suggestions below:
• Come along to one of our community meetings which are held regularly held in your neighbourhood.
• Call West Midlands Police on 0345 113 5000 and ask to speak to your neighbourhood team. Alternatively, you can email your neighbourhood officers.
• Join a local Neighbourhood Watch scheme: visit www.neighbourhoodwatch.net for more information and to find a local scheme.
• Give information about crime anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting www.crimestoppers-uk.org. Crimestoppers are not the police, but an independent charity working to fight crime.
• Tell us what you think by completing our online survey.
Whichever method you prefer, we hope to hear from you soon and don’t forget you can always find out the latest priorities and meeting dates for your neighbourhood here on our website.
