A road remains closed today (Friday 12 February) as police continue to investigate reports of shots being fired in Handsworth.
Officers were called to Thornhill Road, Birmingham just after 12.30am, it is believed that two cars have been damaged with no reports of any injuries.
The road will remain closed for several hours from the junction of Montague Road up to the junction with Holly Road while forensic experts continue to search the area for evidence.

Police investigating a fatal hit and run in Coventry believe a woman waiting at a bus-stop near the crash scene could hold vital clues - and are appealing for her to come forward.
It follows a crash at the junction of Dame Agnes Grove and Henley Road at around 1pm on Saturday 30 January in which a 56-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured. Christopher Masterson later died in hospital.
