CCTV clues to pizza shop raids
Detectives in Wolverhampton are investigating after a fast food shop was robbed twice in three weeks.
Pizza Hut in Willenhall Road, Portobello was raided at around 9pm on Thursday 20 February and again around 9.30pm on Thursday 6 March.
On each occasion men with crowbars and an axe jumped over the counter, threatened staff and stole cash from the till.
Police believe the same offenders could be responsible for both raids and have released CCTV images in a bid to identify them.
DC Damon Millar, from Force CID, said: "We believe the offenders could be from the local area as they made off on foot, so I would urge anyone who recognises them to contact me on 101.
"The owners of Pizza Hut have stepped up security at the premises since the robberies, including personal attack alarms for all staff members."
Meanwhile police are examining forensic evidence taken from the premises and trawling local CCTV.
There are up to four offenders with masked faces and all wearing dark clothing with hooded sports tops.
