Police have released images of two men who tried to snatch mobile phones from students in Perry Barr.
The men, caught on CCTV, are wanted in connection with two attempt mobile phone robberies in the area over the past few weeks.
Police have today (Friday 28 November) arrested a 28-year-old man in Edgbaston on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in a Birmingham chip shop.
The 51-year-old victim was violently assaulted at around 3.20pm on November 7 at Simply Fish and Chips in Hagley Road West, Quinton. He is being cared for by family as he continues to recover.

Birmingham detectives have released CCTV of a group of people thought to be responsible for an attack on a young woman in the city centre.
The 20-year-old was followed from Bull Street by a group of four women and two men and was verbally abused as she made her way towards the High Street just before 10pm on Saturday 30 August.
