Three men charged over Sparkbrook disorder


Three men will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Wednesday) charged in connection with disorder in Sparkbrook in early July.
Fazal Khan, 34, and Pierzada Khan, 32, both from Sparkbrook and security guard Asif Iqbal, 27, from Sparkhill have been charged with two counts of attempt murder and one count of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
Disorder broke out on the evening of Wednesday 2 July in Grantham Road and Farm Road in Sparkbrook.
A 28-year-old man died of a stab wound to the neck during the fighting and two other men were injured and taken to hospital.
Several men have been charged with murder and are currently awaiting trial.
