Man charged following protest at Tesco, Hodge Hill

A man has been charged following a disorder at Tesco in Hodge Hill, Birmingham on Saturday afternoon (16 August). 
 
Naveed Zafar, 35, of Naseby Road, Alum Rock, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (Monday 18 August). 
 
He has been charged with two counts of assault, three counts of assaulting a police officer and one count of obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty.
