Fourth man charged over Sparkbrook murder


A fourth man has appeared in court, accused of murder, following disorder in Sparkbrook in which a man died.
Self-employed Sardar Khattak, aged 34, from Bordesley Green, was charged on Monday (21 July) and appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday, where he was remanded into prison.
Ikram Ullah Khan, aged 28, died from a stab wound to the neck during fighting in Grantham Road and Farm Road in Sparkbrook on Wednesday 2 July.
Four men have now been charged with his murder and a further two remain on police bail following their arrest on 12 July; another four men are on bail for attempted murder and a further four are on bail for a separate disorder.
