A 23-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of murder after the bodies of a man and a woman were found at an address in Solihull this morning (Monday 7 July).
Officers were called to a house in Hermitage Road just after 5.15am this morning to reports of an attack inside the property.
The bodies of a 58-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were found at the scene and a double murder inquiry has been launched.
Hermitage Road remains cordoned off while forensic enquiries are on-going.
DI Martin Slevin from Force CID who is leading the investigation said: “The inquiry is in its early stages but police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths at this stage.”
