Searches underway for wanted Tyseley man


Police in Birmingham are searching for a local man wanted for a violent assault and have released his image in a bid to trace him.
Darren Walker, aged 45 from Speedwell Road, Tyesley, is wanted in connection with the offence which took place on May 20; he is also wanted in connection with a theft.
DC Dan Lagorio, from Birmingham East, said: "Walker is wanted in connection with a violent assault in the Tyesley area and theft. Officers are investigating the incidents but have so far been unable to locate him. We want to hear from anyone who has information to contact us as soon as possible."
He is described as: white, of medium build and is around 5ft 8ins tall.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or alternatively information can be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
