Teens arrested over Stirchley robberies

Three Birmingham teenagers have been arrested in connection with two robberies in Stirchley over the weekend.

Police were called to two crimes on Sunday afternoon, where teenagers were approached by three young men wearing balaclavas and forced to hand over their mobile phones.

Police issue new images in search for missing West Brom woman

Police in West Bromwich investigating the whereabouts of missing woman Joan Moss have released new images of her in a bid to try and find her. 

The CCTV pictures show her getting on the number 65 bus heading out of Birmingham city centre at 9.50pm on 17 December. Joan is then seen exiting the bus around five minutes later at Lichfield Road, Waterlinks Boulevard.

Appeal man seriously hurt in Solihull crash

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously hurt in a Solihull collision today (22 December).

Officers were called by the ambulance service to Holly Lane, Balsall Common just before 11.30am following reports of a collision involving an F-type Jaguar and a Land Rover Freelander.

A man, believed to be in his 20s, was treated at the scene and taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are believed to be life threatening.

An area of Holly Lane near to the junction with Brees Lane and Table Oak Lane was cordoned off whilst emergency services dealt with the collision

Birmingham parents jailed for causing son’s death

The parents of Birmingham toddler, Levi Blu Cassin, have today (22 December) been jailed for a total of 18 years for causing or allowing the 21-month-old’s death.

Danielle Cassin, aged 26, of Frensham Close, Chelmsley Wood, and Marcus Piper, aged 31, of no fixed abode, were found guilty following a four week trial at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday 19 December.

Man to appear at court on death by dangerous driving charge

A man will appear at court this morning (December 22) after a road collision that killed a woman in Coventry on Friday. 

Nicky Gosal, of Walmsley Close in Allesley, was arrested near to the scene in Browns Lane and has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
