Public urged to help trace burglar for prison recall

Birmingham police are asking people to help them trace a convicted burglar who is wanted on recall to prison.

Luke Stuart saw his licence revoked in January after he breached his conditions of release.

Solihull man charged with Home Office website attack

A Solihull man will appear in court this morning (22 October) charged with computer misuse offences and possessing indecent images of children. 
 
Charlton George Ripley Floate, is charged with conspiracy to commit computer misuse, possessing indecent images of children, possessing prohibited images of children and possession of extreme pornography.

Man critical after Wednesbury attack

A man is critically ill in hospital after being attacked as he walked through Wednesbury at the weekend. 
 
Police were called to Vicarage Road just after 9.30pm on Sunday (19 October) after a man was found lying unconscious in the street.

CCTV released after man glassed at chip shop

Detectives investigating an attack which left a man needing 30 stitches to the side of his face have today released CCTV images.  
 
The man was trying to calm down a disagreement between a man and a woman and a larger group of men at Skipper Fish Bar in Holloway Circus, Birmingham city centre just before 2am on Saturday 20 September.

Inquiry launched after man dies following Coseley collision

A man has died following a collision involving a police car in Coseley, this morning (21 October).
 
The man suffered serious injuries in the collision, which happened at 11am at the junction of Central Drive, Bridge Street and Martin Close.
