The force is committed to promoting equality of opportunity for women and men in terms of employment, service delivery and involvement.
The Gender Equality Scheme explains what West Midlands Police aims to achieve with regards to Gender Equality, and what actions we will take to reach these goals.
We recognise that people from different groups and communities have different needs and try to treat everyone fairly. The force will work towards a culture of inclusion for everyone, throughout everything we do. Together we can identify barriers and work to remove them to improve our service.
The scheme is available in a variety of formats and languages on request.
