The force is committed to promoting equality of opportunity for people with disabilities in terms of employment, service delivery and involvement.
The Disability Equality Scheme explains what the West Midlands Police hope to achieve with the help and support of disabled people.
We recognise that people from different groups and communities have different needs and try to treat everyone fairly.
The force will work towards a culture of inclusion for disabled people throughout all of what we do.
Together we can identify barriers and work to remove them to improve our service.
The scheme is available in a variety of formats and languages on request.
