"I attended your BikeSafe weekend in mid July and would like to express my appreciation to you and the other officers and paramedic involved.
I found the advice most helpful, considered the whole experience extremely beneficial and would not hesitate to recommend the course to fellow motorcyclists. I also intend to undertake further training as suggested."

"Just a quick note to say thank you very much for running the BikeSafe Course last weekend. I had known that I was not getting things right every time when I was out on my bike and it was good to have this properly pointed out to me by your colleagues.
Please pass on my thanks to your colleagues for giving up their time voluntarily and pass on my particular thanks to Mark Weaver for his patience with me and my mistakes and for his positive encouragement.
I have been out riding since and have tried to put this into practice. Whilst some errors are still there, the improvement in ride enjoyment is noticeable and hopefully the chance of putting myself into serious danger is diminishing.
One of the minor reasons for doing the BikeSafe course was to find out whether, as police, you felt that there were other avenues to improve. Your recommendations for some more advanced riding will be followed up.
I am not a speed freak, nor technical fiend, I just enjoy riding and to improve and enjoy it more is what I would like to do so I will now pursue more advanced riding, more than likely via the Birmingham Club.
Thank you for your time and expertise. It is a pity such a course is not compulsory for all riders and probably more importantly for car drivers!"

"I would like to thank both you and your team for an excellent insight into what I can only describe as my abominable motorcycle skills. I think many of us riders think we are skilful and can do almost anything on our bikes, once we have a couple of years experience, believe me when I say this you all showed me exactly how good I was.
I feel very privileged to have had a team of guys (especially policemen) giving me a second chance to improve my riding skills a little further, also a clearer and better understanding of the everyday hazards that are out there, of which I think many of us take for granted when we have been driving for so long, our blinkered vision in many cases causes us to be part of those hazards.
Having been given the opportunity to improve my riding skills and general road use has made me more aware of what is exactly out there, and has also given me further incentives to improve those skills, by taking a look at doing some type of advanced motorcycle training, and possibly passing on the knowledge which has been given to me to other riders by becoming an instructor myself.
Once again guys, thanks for a great weekend, it was full of information and experience, but most of all an insight into my very own dangers and of course you all made it fun to be part of.
Thanks and keep the course going whatever it takes, there must be thousands of bikers out there that were like I was before."

"I feel compelled to write in to you regarding my BikeSafe course. I’d like to say a big thank you, for what has been nothing short of a superb, enjoyable and most importantly, an extremely informative and inspiring weekend of motorcycling.
You guys are certainly the “Crème de la Crème” of motorcyclists, but giving up on your own time to impart your wealth of knowledge and experience of motorcycle safety on us mere mortals is just brilliant! Worth every penny and more! As for the camaraderie and banter – just the icing on the cake.
Long may the BikeSafe courses continue. In fact I hope there is further investment to extend the availability of the course to allow more motorcyclists to take part and become better, safer riders.
Thank you all once again."
