Fixed penalty notices

If you receive a fixed penalty notice, you have two options;

  • Pay the ticket in full
  • Request a court hearing

Penalty Notices for Disorder

Penalty notices for disorder cover offences such as ‘drunk and disorderly’, minor criminal damage and more serious offences such as ‘causing harassment, alarm and distress’.

If you receive one of these you have two options:

  • Pay the ticket in full
  • Request a court hearing

For drug or alcohol related offences there may be an educational course available. The Central Ticket Office makes a decision on eligibility.
