Teenager taken to hospital following collision in Erdington

A teenager has been taken to hospital following a collision in Erdington last night.

The 16-year-old male was in a silver Renault Clio, which failed to stop for police traffic officers and collided with safety railings at the junction of Slade Road and Reservoir Road a short time later.

Witness appeal after fatal road collision in Brierley Hill

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 57-year-old man died as a result of a serious collision on Pedmore Road at the junction with The Gateway in Brierley Hill.

Officers were called to the scene just before 7pm on Tuesday evening (30 June) following a collision between a white Honda motorbike and a white Ford van.

Teenager appears at court charged with attempted murder

A teenager has appeared at court to hear allegations he stabbed another teen in High Street, West Bromwich on Tuesday (30 June).

The 15-year-old boy from Walsall has been charged with attempted murder and was remanded in custody after appearing at Sandwell Magistrates Court this afternoon (3 July).

Trio jailed for drug dealing from Birmingham tower block

A Birmingham couple and their friend have been jailed for a total of seven years for drug dealing from a city centre tower block.

Raymond Germaine, 26, and his girlfriend, Rochai Simms, 24, were arrested on 23 January 2015 after officers stopped Germaine in a Ford Focus hire car outside Clydesdale Tower, Holloway Head.

Detectives investigating a Smethwick shooting have today (Friday 3 July) arrested two men following a dawn raid.

Armed police officers executed the warrant at house on Birch Street, Oldbury at around 4.30am.

CCTV images released after man glassed in city centre club

CCTV images of two people have been released after a man was glassed in a Birmingham bar earlier this month.

The 32-year-old was drinking in the Jam House, St Pauls Square in the early hours of Saturday 6 June when the assault took place.

It is believed that the victim was on the dance floor when he was punched, as he tried to prevent being assaulted further another man became involved who smashed a glass in his face.

Hospital treatment was needed as a result of the attack where he sustained facial injuries including a deep cut to his face and stratches to his face and chest.
